For the early birds at Gondola One (#1), there is a delightful spread of warm strudel, coffee, and cocoa. Plus, some lucky ones might even snag early-bird prizes! The lifts start running at 9 AM, but the party starts early at 8 AM, with music, pastries, and hot drinks in the crisp mountain air.
DJs will be spinning tunes at both Lionshead and Vail Village base areas, setting the perfect vibe for a day of excitement. After your first exhilarating runs, join the continuous celebration at Express Lift for the inaugural après of the season, featuring delightful samplings of 10th Mountain Whiskey starting at 1 PM, and enjoy more tunes courtesy of DJ Pippen. Indulge in your favorite 10th Mountain Spirit, savor a warm pretzel, and toast to the start of an unforgettable winter season.
2. REVELY VAIL
November 10 – December 6, 2023
Adding to the excitement of Vail's early winter kick-off is the much-anticipated Vail Revely festival, spanning from November 10 to December 6. Revely invites you to usher in winter in style. After a thrilling day on the slopes, the festivities continue in town with an array of delightful activities. From silent discos to immersive art workshops, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
One of the highlights of Revely Vail is the enchanting tree lighting ceremony (Nov. 25), where the town square transforms into a sparkling wonderland, igniting the holiday spirit. This year, an exciting addition to the festivities is the Kringle Crossing mini holiday village, located at the International Bridge, a whimsical escape that promises to enchant visitors of all ages.
